THE 140-HOUR NURSE AIDE COURSE INCLUDES:

Online:

40 hours of Nurse Aide curriculum that can be taken from home any time of day convenient for you. It must be completed prior to starting the Skills Lab. Students also complete 20 hours of supplemental online learning related to working with older adults. Students can start the online curriculum as soon as registration is complete.

Skills Labs

beginning April 3rd
Wednesday and Thursday Evenings 5:15 pm – 9:30 pm (8 sessions)

Clinicals

beginning April 6th
Saturdays 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (6 sessions)

Tuition:

$2,150 (three interest-free payments are an option)

This includes the tuition and all instruction, student’s background check, one set of scrubs, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff and liability insurance required by the clinical site. There are no additional fees, except for CPR as outlined on this flyer.

What is needed to get started?

At time of registration

  • US Government-Issued picture ID (Driver’s License, Learner’s Permit, Passport)
  • A valid social security number
  • If a student is 16-18 years of age, a parent must be
    present at the time of registration.

Prior to starting Skills Lab

  • Covid Vaccination card that includes at least one booster
  • Current Flu Shot and TB test
  • CPR Certification -American Heart BLS is required.
    It is not included in the tuition, but available to students for a discounted price of $84.00.

The Nurse Aide training prepares students to work in hospitals, long term care facilities, assisted living, and other health care settings. It provides a vocational path or patient care experience for a student pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or planning to attend medical school. Successful completion of the Nurse Aide training course is required to take the Board of Nursing exam to become a CNA.
