Home Health-Grant funded training and Job Placement
Moon River Senior Care, an affiliate of Moon River Nursing Careers, is excited to announce that we have been selected as a job placement site for the Nurse Aide and Home Health Aide Apprenticeship Programs with the US Dept. of Labor. Apprentices accepted into this program will receive 144 hours of training at no charge, provided they can commit to work full-time as an aide at Moon River Senior Care for one year. Job location for home health care assignments is Ashburn/Leesburg/Sterling and surrounding communities. After the training and one year of professional experience in this program, the Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide apprentice has a credential that is recognized in every state in the US.

We give preference to the following applicants:
- Those who have some training in healthcare, such as PCA (for HHA or Nurse Aide training) or HHA (for Nurse Aide training).
- Those who have some experience as a caregiver, including within one’s own family
- College students or recent college graduates pursuing nursing school, medical school or physician assistant school
